Mohawk Industries, the world's largest flooring manufacturer, has an opportunity for an experienced, service-oriented professional to lead the claims organization, identify process improvements and find value-added opportunities to reduce claims volume through proactive partnerships with manufacturing. The position will work from Dalton, Georgia.
Director Claims
This strategic position requires 8+ years of experience in claims, customer service, manufacturing, sales or similar area of responsibility as well as industry-specific experience that will provide the foundation of knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully handle technical questions. Five-plus years in supervisory roles and a demonstrated ability to drive organizations toward superlative service are required. Strengths in planning, prioritization and time management, development, written and verbal communications and developing effective partnerships throughout the organization are essential. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required or 8+ years of related work experience.
This role directs the overall claims workflow and ensures that the processes effectively use resources and enhance the customer experience with Mohawk. In addition to the traditional duties associated with this role, a top-notch candidate can impact organizational success at Mohawk by:
* Reinforcing problem solving skills among a dynamic team of claims professionals and elevates their skill sets to facilitate process improvements and refined service delivery;
* Building strong relationships with Quality Assurance, Sales, Field Services and Marketing management and staff to identify issues and prevent future exposure and customer inconvenience;
* Establishing metrics for improving departmental performance and driving perpetual innovation within the claims team;
* Using claims as training opportunities to ensure awareness of relevant issues to the appropriate audiences;
* Proactively seeking opportunities to impact competitive advantage and profitability.
