Job Description:
A Field Service Engineer at EDT will:
* Travel to customer sites in Latin America, participate in and support mill trials of EDT's technologies
* Provide ongoing technical assistance to customers, including EDT's value-oriented role as a consultant to mill management in optimizing EDT's applications at each customer site
* Work closely with other members of EDT's field sales/service group and to help develop and deliver customized, mill-specific treatments to reduce total mill costs, improve pulp quality, streamline mill operations, and enable environmental compliance
* Perform data analysis of each mill's performance and correlate cause and effect to understand EDT technology's impact
* Maintain high customer satisfaction with EDT
Key skill areas:
* Technical background in Math, Engineering, Chemistry; background in Pulp and Paper Science is a plus
* Experience in laboratory protocol
* Excellent Data Analysis and Excel computer skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Requirements |
Job Qualifications:
* Technical undergraduate degree in engineering (mechanical engineering or chemical engineering), pulp and paper science, or chemistry required
* Work experience in a laboratory setting
* Experience with pulp and paper mills or other process industry plant operations is a plus
* Willingness to travel
* Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese as a native speaker
