Description |
The Regional Coordinator, functioning as an internal wholesaler, is partnered with a Regional Vice President (RVP) and Regional Sales Advisor (RSA) in a geographical sales territory. This individual is responsible for the promotion of the sale of either fixed annuity or life insurance primarily in an assigned territory partnering with an RVP, creating new and managing existing relationships with representatives to increase the sale of OM Financial products throughout the given territory. This is accomplished by providing sales ideas and product training to distributors.
Organization
This position reports directly to the Regional Manager, but takes direction from the RVP.
Duties and Responsibilities
Establish strong relationships with existing MGAs in territory while making new contacts, providing sales ideas, and generating new business.
Profiling of MGA/Key Account. Utilizes information obtained to further develop business opportunities.
Initiates outbound sales initiatives, hosts virtual presentations to MGAs and prospective MGAs to promote OM Financial products
Manages regional sales goals and territorial objectives in conjunction with RVP, RSA and Regional Manager.
Sales activities to include: scheduling client meetings, training seminars, boot camps, coordinate necessary materials, etc. to achieve maximum reach
Will serve as liaison between MGA and third party administrators (TPAs) staff on conducting business with OM Financial.
Proficiently utilize all applications i.e.: company website, illustration software, commission, and general servicing systems.

Requirements |
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Insurance, and/or five to seven years of experience in the Insurance or Financial Services Industry.
Demonstrated strong customer relationship management and servicing skills as well as internal corporate relationship management capabilities
Previous sales experience is preferred
Proficient phone skills
Technologically proficient and knowledgeable.
Well versed in our entire product line
Additional Requirements:
Secure Life and Annuities License during the first 12 months of hire.
Complete a minimum of 2 American College courses per year in pursuit of designation, i.e. CLU, ChFC, etc. or other programs as approved by management
Skills and Abilities
Strong problem solving, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are critical. Results oriented. Personal computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to work in a fast pace team environment, handle multi-tasks and projects as well as support inbound and outbound calls from Power Partners, MGAs and Key Accounts. Occasional travel.
