Description |
This position is responsible for developing and managing the En Espaņol Program from a marketing and operations perspective. The role is responsible for successfully promoting the program, as measured by life insurance and annuity sales to the Hispanic market, to MGAs, agents, and Old Mutual Financial Network employees.
Organization:
This position reports directly to the AVP, Broker Dealer & Marketing Relations but takes direction from the Director of Business Development and Hispanic Marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee activity of the Bilingual Marketing Coordinator
Support of Director of Business Development and Hispanic Marketing, development and implementation of marketing plan to promote program, training for distribution partners, and call activity to/from distribution. Occasional ad-hoc translation requests from field.
Operations
Partner with Operations and key distribution partners to develop a successful operational and staffing model; ensure proper levels of TPA support. Includes providing program training for bilingual operational staff. Drive development of systems and operational efficiencies. Ensure that contact management system (Sales Force) is developed to accommodate En Espaņol needs.
Research and Analytics
Engage Marketing Research team to identify and report on trends and opportunities; obtain relevant competitive intelligence on product and distribution, including networking with competitors and vendors engaged in the market. Monitor news about minorities, immigration, and Hispanic events
Reporting
Drive the development of reports used to track the progress of the En Espaņol program. Track sales activity at all relevant levels of the sales process. Update reports and use as a promotional tool with distribution and employees.
Initiate and coordinate projects as assigned by AVP, Broker Dealer & Marketing Relations.

Requirements |
Required:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Insurance or related fields
5-7 years of financial services industry experience
Familiarity with multiple Hispanic cultures
Complete a minimum of 2 American College courses per year in pursuit of designation, i.e. CLU, ChFC, etc. or other programs as approved by management
Demonstrated success in operations, sales, marketing, service positions
Preferred:
Life insurance licensed, CLU or ChFC
Skills and Abilities:
Strong problem solving, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are critical. Results oriented. Personal computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to develop partnerships and teamwork
Fluent in English and Spanish
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Occasional travel to TPAs and distribution partners is required.
Must be able to work in a fast pace team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
