Viracon, the leader in glass fabrication, has an excellent opportunity for a Production Supervisor at our Statesboro facility. The primary responsibilities of this position are to meet safety goals, maintain production and quality standards at or above budget goals, and meet performance-to-plan goals.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
1.Trains new employees and instructs current employees to work safely and efficiently.
2.Takes necessary steps to ensure the production of quality products.
3.Conducts timely employee evaluations.
4.Plans and maintains time and work schedules.
5.Completes time and attendance daily and accurately.
6.Maintains records and reports relating to her/his area of responsibility.
7.Interprets and applies company policies, job orders, work specifications and associated ISO documentation.
8.Maintains a clean, organized work area.
9.Provides employees with prompt and constructive feedback on performance.

Requirements |
Three years previous supervisory experience.
Four year degree in business management or related field preferred.
Proven ability to provide work direction and achieve goals through self-motivation, and minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to meet goals and deadlines.
Effective communication skills -both verbal and written.
Ability to work as a team member with a diverse group of people.
Ability to read, write and understand work instructions (English).
Safely perform essential job responsibilities.
